Free Star Painting Workshop for Stonington Children

Produced by Susan Scala, Stonington artist, with funding provided by the southeastern CT Cultural Coalition. Stonington children are invited to get creative by painting 7 inch wooden stars at the Como Fair. The stars will have art work on one side and the child’s name and wish for the future on the other side. All stars will be sealed for weather and hung on an illuminated “wall of wishes” during the upcoming Starry Lights event in Donahue Park, Pawcatuck this December. There is an optional laser engraving available for stars at a minimal cost, payable to the Como. Personalize your child’s special art piece with this custom service. All stars can be retrieved by the families after the 3 week art installation is over.
